Juliet's Nurse raised Juliet and acts as a mother figure throughout the story, Juliet tells her Nurse more than her mother. For instance the Nurse and Friar Lawrence are the only people who are aware of Romeo and Juliet's love for each other in the beginning. Nurse plays a large role in this story, In the very beginning she was the one who told Romeo Juliet's name and Juliet Romeo's name. She also arranged the wedding and gave Juliet the news of Romeo's banishment. She basically was the messanger for them. She was someone that Juliet could always count on and trust until the end. Juliet stopped trusting her, she stopped trusting everyone except Friar, and she lied and said she was going to confession. She also lied about taking the poison. She said she wanted to be alone because she was sad when really she wanted to be alone to tale the poison. Overall, Nurse played a pretty large part in Romeo and Juliet.
